Camano Nature-Farm Communities Association
Camano Nature-Farm Communities Association (CNFCA) was established in January 2024 on Camano Island, WA. In March of 2024, CNFCA purchased the land which is the home of Camano Farm Ashram (formerly Ananda Farm), in order to preserve the land in accordance with its mission.
CNFCA’s mission is to promote the safekeeping of land dedicated to natural, sustainable agriculture, forest preservation, and nature stewardship, and the education of the public thereof in Washington State. As of Fall of 2024, CNFCA is seeking recognition as a 501(c)3 educational non-profit. CNFCA cooperates with like-minded organizations, including Camano Farm Ashram, to facilitate activities aligned with its purposes including regenerative, natural farming practices such as soil-building, water retention, plant diversity, companion planting, and plant propagation, animal stewardship, homesteading and all related self-sufficiency practices, trail maintenance and forest stewardship, and education of the public of the aforementioned activities.
